The Waiheke Community Art Gallery in Oneroa is holding a fascinating exhibition by photographer Bev Short.

‘All Woman’ features 48 photographs of women who inspired the artist.

One of the most striking images is of Olympic athlete Barbara Kendall ironing in hair curlers.

Local artists were also given the opportunity to submit works in response to Bev’s work. The selected works are on show in the gallery’s second room.

The show is on now until Monday 29th September 2014 and definitely worth a visit.
