Still Life: inside the antarctic huts of Scott and Shackleton

Photographer Jane Ussher travelled to Antarctica to document the historic huts of the most famous polar explorers, Scott and Shackleton.

The result is a meditative, reflective exhibition that beautifully frames the amazing achievements of these men and their teams in one of the worlds harshest and most isolated environments.

The exhibition is open daily at Auckland Museum until Sunday 5th October, free with Museum entry.
